Intralipid Infusions

Intralipid Infusions Explained

Supportive therapy to complement your fertility care

  • If you’ve been prescribed Intralipid Infusions as part of your fertility or IVF treatment,
  • It usually means your specialist is supporting your immune system to improve the chances of a successful pregnancy
  • Intralipid is a fat emulsion given intravenously, and it’s thought to help women whose immune responses may be interfering with embryo implantation
  • At our clinic, intralipid infusions are delivered in a calm outpatient setting by qualified nurses, under your doctor’s guidance
  • Your fertility specialist will decide if intralipid is right for you and when it should be administered during your IVF cycle
