Answers to Common Questions

Most appointments take 1-2 hours from arrival to departure. The actual infusion time varies depending on the medication type and your response. We allow extra time for registration, consultation, and post-infusion monitoring.

Bring your Medicare card, private health insurance information, photo ID, and a list of current medications. If you have previous medical records relevant to your infusion, bring those as well. We’ll send a pre-appointment checklist via email.

Yes. Topdoc Infusion Clinic follows strict protocols aligned with AHPRA standards and TGA guidelines. All medications are TGA-approved. Our clinicians are trained in IV administration and monitoring, with continuous safety oversight during your infusion.

Our nurse places an IV in your arm, then administers the medication at a controlled rate. You’ll be monitored throughout. Most patients relax, read, or work during the infusion. We have comfortable recliners, WiFi, and a calm environment.
